It’s cool to think I did something right back in March and April when we shot Delivery. I wouldn’t have guessed it from the way my performance played out on screen, but apparently it was good enough to give more directors the idea that I should be in their movies too. Awesome. I was asked to do two new films this week, leading in one and, I suppose, leading in the other as well. I hope I have the time, because I’ve felt nostalgic for acting work—or just being on set in general—since we wrapped back then. I just hope I can outperform myself this time around. And even if I find that I can’t participate because of my already hellish schedule, so be it. All that matters to me is knowing I wasn’t terrible, and that I can reach for this kind of work in the future and be hopeful that I’ll actually be able to get it. I’m thankful for that.
