Brian Wilson was not saying that California Girls are the best. He was saying that all the other girls in the country are so awesome and he wishes they could be in California.
Aside from Jaime clearing up what the song is actually about, I am irritated at this person’s assumption about California girls. I am a California girl, and I am none of what he describes and majority of my friends there are not like that at all either. I hate broad generalizations like this when someone is trying to be serious.
