All smiles.
These are exciting times. I’ve become enveloped in something bigger than I thought I would achieve in Colorado, and it’s both unbelievably empowering and insanity-inducing. I’m helping to create something exceptionally unique—it’s a feeling I haven’t encountered in a while.
These are trying times. As much as I strive to prevent the world around me from burning, I’m beginning to learn that I can only keep myself out of the fire. In discovering that, I’ve had to make changes in the way I see others, especially those closest to me. I’m anxious to take on the challenges that await, but I fear that in overcoming them I’ll be leaving much of my past in a smoldering heap somewhere down the mountain.
These are defining times.
